'believe'....

hi there . I got this dvd the other day , it’s a great board design video . surfers include dick van straalen and rasta , chris brock and marcus aboody ,terry , kye and joel fitzgerald , beau and nat young , andrew kidman ,and 4 yo kyuss king .It’s definately worth getting , in my opinion . It’s filmed on the nsw north coast and a bit of queensland with neal purchase jnr , too !

check it

I got it a couple of weeks back & I really enjoyed it, I found that section on Chris Brock inspiring, he is is still as stoked as a grom who stood up for the first time.

A trailer is available Here

yep !!

" the guy having the most fun is the guy with the biggest grin " , as he says , staring off into space with that after surf buzzing glow [and grin !] here’s some shots of dvs and rasta , a few of the boards he rides in the movie .good stuff ! photos taken off a tv screen , hence the quality is not great , sorry , but hopefully they give you the idea , anyway ] the footage of the Fitzgerald sons on their dad Terry’s ‘Driftas’ design boards [late 70’s , early 80’s] . I enjoyed that !!

a twinny …

one for popeye / paz / pascal [and other africalis !]

I got it a rounf November, I reaaly like it. some great stuff, but I still think the scene in glass love with Pat Curren shapping a board for Tom is one of my all time favorites. very moving and great to just watch him work, pure poetry in motion.

…I understand your point sad that the board does not work in the film

then you see the others shapes that work insane like the MP rides

‘believe’ was made by my mate mick waters.

i know i’m biased but i reckon it’s a beautiful, emotive, well-crafted film, & a very worthy contribution to the surf film genre.

Hey, just blew the dust off this old thread to see if anyone knew anything about the red board that Marcus Aboody is surfing at Lennox in the movie? I’m guessing it’s one of Chris Brock’s but would be keen to find out a bit more about it as it looks like it goes really well.

Cheers, Tommy
