I’m gonna shape a Fish for a first shaping project. Old school Lis, Frye, Steve Brom inspired. Thick with low rocker. I need a fish and want to try my hand at shaping. Any advice on what blank to use? Also where can I find those wood Gehpart fins - I think they are balsa or marine plywood. Any other template tips or additional advice is appreciated. Now searching archives before I start in on this but plan to do this over the next couple of weeks. Thanks again.

I use the Clark 6-9A Cole. nice blank can yeld a thick and fat fish
