Best of British...!!!...

Hi Paul

Here it is at last. It was built in the method you described without any

major disasters, but I must confess to not glassing it myself - it seemed

just too complex and open to disaster, so it was done professionally by an

epoxy specialist.

It is 9’2" with a flat deck, slight v in the tail and a large concave at the

nose. It is made from spruce, sapele and cedar.

I have only surfed it the once so far as it is still winter here and I live

some distance from the sea, but it will have a full weeks use at Easter.

First impressions are as you described with a mellow sort of feel, enough

weight to be of use without being cumbersome.

Thanks for all of your work in putting your site together.

Best of British!!

John

Hello Pauls,

Asolutely lush board Mr Jenson Sir.

Little confused about the best of British title though, care to elaborate?

Are you over on the sunny island that is the UK for a while, indulging in our tropical heat and endless percect blue wave??

Imported wood possibly???

Hey, nice… I wonder if I’ll see it in Wales?

John Brotherton made that beauty…!!!..

…and after a surf, it seats four for dinner!

Absolutely gorgeous…

Awesome work.

Paul, you’re creating some kind of school… (how do you say that in english???).

It is nice, nice, nice…

Paul, you must be happy of seeing people all around the globe is building boards like yours, and people all around the globe will be surprised of how durable and beautiful are the Jensen’s hollow boards. People believes wood boards don’t float, and they’re unmanouverable. Every time I can I ask surfers if they want to surf my HWS, and they come from the water with a smile in their face and say: “it works!”… I’m still working in traslating your webpage for those spanish spokers who doesn’t understand english. Maybe someday we will have boards built in Mexico, Central and South America, and in every country people will have to adapt the materials available, resulting in a great diversity of boards, woods, and rail materials.

You, your boards and your site are creating artists. Jack

Beautiful. What a dream.

Yeah, I’m stoked to see that people are having success building hollow boards…

I’m just happy to have created the web-site that has brought others in touch with a more creative way to build boards…

So far I haven’t heard that anyone couldn’t build one…

Did I expect that people from every continent except Antartcitca would use “The Jensen Method”, no way, not in my wildest dream…

Go for it on the translation…

Thanks…

Hi Paul,

that’s well sweet, who is the creator and where about in the UK are they from? Encourage them if you can to post here as I may well stumble into them one day over easter depending where they are planning their full weeks use. It would be nice to bump into another hollow builder on my first outing. Just for in-case’s sake I’m at Croyde bay, N Devon from begining of April for 6 days.
