Say what you like, fill coating with epoxy is a bitch. Especially when it gets colder. Anyone got any tips for making epoxy lay flow better and lay flatter when fill coating?
spread first with a squeegee, then the brush
After you got it burushed out, use a heat gun to get it to lay down like water.
Or even after you brush it out..............

that was funny, inspiring, inventive, a pro tip, and great writing! add 25 pts. to that tally!
i'm thinking about getting some additive "F" from resin research to try on my next board.
You can reduce the viscosity of epoxy by heating it. I throw the resin in the microvave for 3 seconds per oz. before mixing the hardener in.
NEVER microwave hardener! The resin will start curing in the bucket before you can even dump it on the board.

Micro is great! Just make sure you are ready as you will speed up the setting time significantly. If you heat for more a few seconds too much you can make fast hardner set in 5 min.
