Big Fish - HWS

7’8 fish using an elongated frye-inspired shape and size.

have gotten it out once so far…seems nice and water tight.

came out a little heavy, but I’ve got multiple elements that I can

optimize to reduce weight…not the least of which is my heavy-handed

resin job.

I feel like the board doubled in weight from glass and resin…will squeegee

more next time.

Big ups to RichieB over at http://www.grainsurf.com/forum for the help with

the woodworking techniques and confidence building.

Cheers to all the folks that helped me with glassing and fin setup questions

especially all those posts in the archives…some great information on this

site and lots of great people.

already scoping out the next one…looking to build something of a cross between

a Joe Bark stock/ Tom Blake / SUP sort of thing…still working on planshape and

design.

Much love to sways.
