Captain, while I created the template for it, and selected the 7’ 7’’ US blanks, I’ve yet to start anything. I do have a 7’ 10’’ x 23’’ single with pre-fin that I can bring, if I don’t get the 7’ 0’’ x 22’’ finished in time. Either way, I doubt I’ll be jumping into NorCal water in October. Glad to let other people ride whichever board I bring. That’s always good for some after surf conversation.
Rooms in San Simeon go for about $85 to $145 a night. Not so bad if you did not get a campsite reservation or your wife hates camping. San Simeon is about 40 min south of Plaskett Creek / Sand Dollar Beach. A hot shower and a king size bed might be the way to go after a big Beat Down at Sand Dollar Beach…and…sitting on the rocks with Stingray because the waves are 15 foot is not so bad…bring beer…Really cool to see Ian stuff a few overhead air drops on a board I shaped…Really cool to see the crew charge on boards made by Sways Crew…Show up, Have fun.
