Biodegradable Polyester Resins

I was looking through and old Surfing Magazine Issue, December 2003 and I read the > article “Glass Pains.” I was wondering if anyone be able to help me > out or guide me in the right direction. I’m looking for a “safe” > polyester resin. To me the strength of this > polyester resin does not matter, it does not have to have a styrene > monomer. Is there such a thing which exist? I am aware of a soybean > oil polyester resin from Cara Plastics, but it is used on John Deer > construction machines. And it is not widely produced. Would you know > of any organizations attempting to create a “safe” polyester resin. > And when I mean “safe” I don’t’ mean “less bad” I’m talking about > something which might be completely biodegradable or completely > renewable. Anyway any help you’d be able to offer > me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
