OK, here is my dilema. I am totally into my 12’ Epoxy Mickey Munoz Superglide. I want to travel with it but the Airlines will only take boards up to 10’. I’d like to not have to ship it ahead of me…
So here’s the plan… Cut board at 2+ feet off the nose and epoxy the 2 pieces into a removable bisect. I’m thinking I need some reinforcements and a locking system of sorts once everything is in place. All wrapped up into a light as possible bisect.
ANY ideas on this would be much appreciated. I’ve looked at the Pope site a few times but think I need to explore some other ways of doing this with the material at hand…
