How do you guys store your blanks and what do you keep them in before either glassing them yourselves or taking them to the glasser? Thanks, Brandon.

Brandon, You set the blanks in an upright position in racks or against the wall.If the nose is blunter than the tail set it on the nose. If the tail is blunter set it on the tail. Be sure not to set in on a hard surface. aloha
Brandon, I wrap mine in carpet padding. I have a roll that’s just about perfect in size for my longboards: It’s about 4 or 6 ft. wide and 10 or 12 ft. long. With this size, I just fold it up like a burrito. Just for extra care, I also wrap it in a blanket before putting it in the padding. Anyway, with the carpet padding, I can lay it on its rails, lay it flat, or stand it up without worrying about dinging it (generally, of course,… it won’t protect it from flying saws). …deeb…
You can pad blanks many ways, but if you’re looking for a cheap cover-up to keep off the fingerprints,dust,u.v.,bugs…try dry cleaner bags. The long ones come in 6 foot lengths, and are good for a couple times.Herb.
Wooden dowels embeded into two by fours spaced five feet apart for 6-8 foot boards. Then keep them in the dark and dirt-free until you send them out for glass jobs or glass them yourself…
i use bubble wrap. comes in rolls 24" wide. i take a piece a little longer than double the board length and duct tape them together along the edges, then just slide the board in. i put that in my travel coffin for the ride in the back of my truck.
