i just got three new blanks all in thr 9to 10 foot range. what is the best way to store them? thank you.
Mark,…I’m gonna answer your question with another question…in what part of the country do you live?! While I know that extreme heat is a killer for blanks (all sorts of “twistage”)…I was wondering what the effects of extreme COLD are…! I will defer this to the more seasoned shapers, as I’m from Hawaii, and have only, recently, experienced the kind of mainland cold that MIGHT affect my blanks…I’ve got a bunch of blanks in my garage…which I may not be able to get to before the serious cold kicks in. My girl will not exactly relish having 20 blanks in the old “hale” (my “shack”) over the winter. Short of taking 'em to my friend’s factory,… garage it is! (By the way, I’ve got the blanks all covered in plastic, and on the homemade equivalent of {padded} “T-rax” -up and down the length of my garage wall). Thanks, all - T.
