Going to order a new longboard, clear finish, 9’6 fairly traditional shape, single fin. These are my blank choices. Any thoughts or caveats?

Where are you located?
Walker Foam is always a favorite.
U.S. Blanks is acceptable.
Rhyno i like better for the shortyboards.
shaped rhyno, VI and US. prefer rhyno. haven’t shaped teccel yet, but longboard blanks are about 30% cheaper. gonna give them a try on the next hi performance longboard.
all of these available in brevard county.
Thanks, it is an East coast shaper and those are my choices. Otherwise I would use Walker, everyone seems to like it.
Hi PeterG,
You mentioned in another thread that there are 2 big suppliers of blanks in Brevard - could you please tell me who they are? I know about Fiberglass Florida, but would appreciate finding out about the others.
Thanks!
The 2 in brevard are atlantic surf materials, they sell the us blanks and rhino. Then there is a teccel supplier, not sure the name of this place. There is Surf source here in jax that also has teccel blanks
atlanticsurfoam is in the old clark foam building off of wickham rd, on industrial park drive, just about 1 mile south of pineda causeway. they have rhyno and us blanks.
teccel recently opened a warehouse on allan hill ave, bout 1/2 mile north of pineda causeway off of us # 1. new management in there as of about a week or so ago. prices are about 30% off of what atlantic surfoam is charging for similar blanks.
paid 125 plus tax for a us blank (9’9) at atlantic.
teccel has a 9’10 and a 9’8 for 104.
haven’t tried a teccel versus rhyno/us blanks yet.
might get to do that next month.
i think fiberglass fla is out of the blank business at this time, but still has all the resin/cloth and etc…
