I purchased the redwood for the T-bands and the balsa. I used some of the balsa for the board I sent to the London Design Museum. The rest I saved for me. Somehow customers always seemed to come first. Then I got a lead on some curly redwood and got inspired. We are working on the 26,000 series now. And no, in 1959 when I made #1 I didn’t even put a number on it. Number two did carry a number and so have the rest of them. When you are 15 years old, you just don’t see yourself ever being 60, but I’m there, loving making wood boards, and putting in my 2 cents whenever Tim asks. Beautiful job Rich! - seems one of the joys of getting older is that we can take the time to enjoy working on a board, picking the wood, thinking about the pattern and color, that we couln’t do in earlier years…20,000 boards ago!! Thanks for sharing it - PK

Who is that a picture of? Rich Harbour or Slingblade?
