This might be slightly off topic but I think those blanks and shapes that Shape3D and Ty Peterson from Marko are sharing are among the coolest internet resources out there. Click on an outline and you can spin it and have a really good look at what you’d be getting. Wow!

When you’re shaping you need to look at the profile of the board and try to guage if what you’re producing is roughly inline with what you have planned on the computer. I wire my own rocker with a template printed off from either Akushaper or boardcad so it’s easy for me. Maybe someone else can chime in on how this works with a blank.
