Those jet designs is what I mistakenly referred to as a venturi bottom in the high-performance thread.
My bleeding word, what a fiasco. Nightmare on Glasser Ave. And nine, count ‘em, nine freakin’ fins.
This thing doesn’t create lift, it creates turbulence. Lots and lots of turbulence. So to keep it rougly pointed in one direction you need more fins than a parking lot full of 1959 Cadillacs. Best use is to mount it bottom up on a set of legs and use it for making french fries. Or, as our compatriots call 'em, ‘chips’.
And on that note…an amusing thought passed through my mind. Imagining what Hicksey will be thinking when he sees it:
"Oh, damn, I just know Ben is gonna want one of these. "
