ok guys, i have 2 boards on the go at the moment, number 9 board is a 30th present so ill let you see the photos after he has it just incase he spots it up here.
number 10 is for my girlfriend, she has got tired of ‘lugging’ her 7’4 Tiki swallow tail round and will only take her wooden 7’7 in when its small and glassy. she has been pinching my 6’5 shortboard whenever she can and loves it. its easier for her to carry and she has had some nice waves on it.
so in order for me to get my board back ive agreed to make one very similar for her, she’s paid for the materials and im putting in the elbow grease, although after the other board im doing it feels too easy!
ive shaped it with the same template i used for mine and the other shortboard ive done, made it slightly thinner in the nose and rails. bottom goes from very slight concave through to flat through the tail. her current board is a thruster but mine she has been liking is a quad so im bought enough fcs plugs to put a quad with centre trailer in. then she cant complain!

these last two boards have been done in my bedroom which ive tented out. hiding from the landlord i cant wait to get these boards out in the daylight tomorow!
