I live in NYC and unfortunately do not have any backyard or outdoor space. When I get a ding, its always an ordeal, so I usually end up paying a guy to do it for me. Anyone ever try boardraxx portable shaping stand? (boardraxx.com). If not, any other folding stand?

Here is a set I made myself. Cost $20 made out of MDF shelving boards from Home Depot. Very heavy and very stable. Rock solid. Breaks down into 4 pieces that are easily stored.
You could also just get a pair of collapsable saw horses and put some padding on them for occasional repairs.
Funny, I just did a google search and found somebody took my idea, ran with it and is selling a nearly identicle set to what I posted here long ago when I first built these. Only $155 a set for my $20 shaping stands. Bravo. I’m flattered. Ha!!!
That’s funny, mako. I think? Just put the board on a garbage can to do repairs. Or buy mako’s racks from boardraxx and start building your own! Mike
