Anyone able to fill me in on how to set up or the principles behind bonza fin placements. Thanx Guy’s !!
fin placement for the bonzER has been posted on more than one occasion.
as for the bonzA…not sure. do the fins look like they’re set differently??
Yeah … looked up previous postings on the subject … nothing there that you would hang your hat on!
As far as bonza standard settings go, would probably depend on 1+2 or 1+4, or what one one consider as “standard” …wouldn’t it ??
Maybe I missed something … anyway thank God the creative types don’t settle for go old “standard”

Maybe you should do your searches on “Bonzer” rather than “Bonza”

Bonzers are a combination of things rail, concaves and fins

and from the man himself
On a 6’10" the rear side fins should be placed 10
3/4" to 11" from the tail depending on the width of the tail. If you
have a very wide tail I would go with 10 3/4".
THE TOW IN NEVER CHANGES. It is 1/4’’ over the 5 1/4’’ length of the
rear set of side fins. The four side fins always move up or back as a
unit. The trailing edge of the base of the rear side fin is always 1
1/2" in from the rail, with the rare exception of very narrow gun tails.
In this case the fin can be moved 1/8’’ closer to the tail.
