…what happened with the booties? Seems all lasts are wrong! I tried O neill, Rip Curl, Quiksilver and a reef bootie from Reef. All sizes are really wrong! Made in Thailand and China.
They are 2 or 3! sizes small.
I have a 3mm Oneill that s 2 sizes big for me (but is the real size and made in Thailand) so the surf shop ordered a new Oneill 5mm model 2 sizes smaller to fit (the same size number that I am) and the fuckers are extremely small so do not fit me.
Are you experiencing this?
Xcel seem to be the corret size. Great quality as well
I think they are meant to be small to be a tight fit Reverb, you don’t want water sloping around in there. Get the right size, it’ll make you happy!!

Last season when I got some new O’neil 7mm they were made in China and were a complete joke… It took a lot of work to get some of the good old made in Thailand, and now I hear they are only going to have made in China… I’d pay double is someone made a senceable booty… not the soft stretchy stuff in the sole and for foot… lame, lame, lame…

Hi Marsh, no heading for any particular place but it s cold here and the sizes are really wrong. The reef bootie was for Japan. Also I use booties all along the year.
Taylor O as I mentioned in the other comment the Oneill s are made in Thailand, new model a nice one 5mm but the sizes are wrong; not real numbers; Rip curl s F bombs 5mm are made in China and looks good, but the sizes are wrong too like Quiksilver made in China too and poorer quality.
Seems that this year new models have the last wrong.
I hear ya Reverb. Last year I was size 10 in excel boots. This year I am size 11. I know my feet did not grow so I’m not sure why the sizing has changed. Not a big deal if you can try them on in a shop but good luck if you buy before you try.
