Hey Guys,
Anyone know of a way to export their APS3000 designs to AutoCAD friendly format? I’m thinking of a conversion from .brd to .dxf…
cheers.

What I have done is take and scan your drawing or picture and copy it then open autocad and get my board dimention scaled with a line or two in auto cad then paste the image into autocad and scale it to my required size and outline it in autocad then erase the image-probably r easier ways to do this though!
Yeah I was hoping for an all digital conversion. That way I could get the rocker, the contours, etc., all in one shot…
Possibly export from aps3000 in pdf format, then use pdf to dxf converter. Haven’t tried it myself from APS software, but have done pdf to dxf for my job(machinist). Old thread, but if this helps.
boardcad
Ferals right, Boardcad is the best converter around.
