Had a 10’ Yater that broke in two. The piece with the nose is 6 feet and the other is obviously 4 feet. My goal is to take the tail piece (4’ piece) chop it down to about 1’6" and then reattach it to the the nose piece and then shape a 7’6"ish Terry Fitzgerald Hot buttered type board. First, any advice on the best way to stick the 2 halves together?? Secondly, seeing as how I could potentially keep the finbox intact, is a single fin the best set up for a board like this? And any hints on how best to handle the Rocker, given the nature of the existing rocker in the 2 pieces will most likely be slightly askew?? ANY HELP is greatly appreciated!
