Brushes For Hotcoat?

What type of brushes can I use for hotcoat that are relatively cheap? Pictures are appreciated…

4" chip brush

lots folks use the 4" “throw away” kind.

Some sqeegee resin on then brush smooth. I just brush, but maybe I’ll start squeegeeing first.

I use the 4" chip brushes. Athough it’s only about $3, I think they get better (less shedding) if you reuse them. Use a container that’s just wide enough for the brush and only enough acetone to go quarterway up the bristles (12 oz cottage cheese tub works for me). Bend the bristles all the way back and grind the brush around in the container as you clean it. Wipe the brush and repeat using clean acetone. Finish with a rinse in lacquer thinner and wipe it off. Toss it when the bristles get too flared on the sides.
