I’m back from my month long trip to Australia…
I taught two week long Hollowsurfboard workshops and wandered around a bit…
Words and pictures of it all here…Australia - April 2009 Trip Report.
Warning: Don’t try to read it all at once…

Nice Report, Paul.
I only had a short lunch break so had to ‘speed read’ and check out the photos. I will read it again in more detail when I get the chance.
I will be 40 in a couple of years and I am starting to think more and more that a hollow wooden fish would be a hell of a present to build myself.
Enjoy your trip to the UK !

Hey Paul glad you had fun. I miss al the tools at the shop so bad. I am starting a new one that is a 5’8 egg quad.
I like this one… natural pattern, manmade structure. I want to go to West/South Oz now.
edit:
haha forgot the picture…
I read the report yesterday night… I’m afraid my workshop (where the French workshop is scheduled) will look pretty ridiculous against those australian professional woodworkers places with all the machines and stuff…
What a Dream Life!
Paul---------------Thanks for the report etc. I’ll be back in the Northwest soon to stay. I’ll be watching and keeping up with you. I sure would like to do one of those Port Townsend workshops. Lowel
The Port Townsend Workshop is Dec 7 >11, 2009…
Very cool. I’m looking forward to your next adventure!
