And you guys thought board making is a skilled art… http://www.surfboardkit.com/ http://www.surfboardkit.com/
It aint as easy as you think boys.I got one of them kits and my skil planer ate the blank.Maybe I ought to get a Hitachi eh? R. Brucker
Then tell us Mr.G how many boards have you made from cutout to polish?
Sure, the shaping part SEEMS easy, but man, I took my Surfboard Kit surfboard out into some chest high waves at The Lane this morning, and let me tell you–it wasn’t easy to surf that thing! I have a new respect for the pros. However, i didn’t have to worry about racks, as the board tucked neatly into the glove compartment. ps–they’re also dangerous in that they draw lots of unwanted attention from locals. I got beat up twice in the parking lot.
Amazing, I shaped one for a Roach in my kitchen, He was out on 500x overhead day, maxing out the little trifin. Best board he’s ever had, He used to surf a popcicle stick single fin, but we got him square away. Man can I shape like a pro now or what!!
Well I finally got one to the polishing stage but my 6000 RPM Milwaukee grinder with a wool pad slung it off the stands. Now I can’t find the damn thing and my dog has a somewhat guilty look on his face. R. Brucker
i love websites that tell you what to do and then expect you to pay for it!?
Mr JC, You really need to checkout the link on my above post so you’ll get my joke. http://www.surfboardkit.com/
