I will most likely use the existing old carpet, replete with glue stains from our first EPS glue-up attempt in 2012, from now until done shaping the first board. When it comes time to paint and glass that, I will probably use either PET film or a tarp (blue) over the carpet, and then red rosin builders’ paper over the tarp, secured with tape. I am not so worried about it.
I did replace the overhead light with something lower profile/ less head-bonking and I have been gathering my shaping supplies and fins in the bay from various locations, to sort through them and stuff. It’s amazing what is gathered over the years. I am a bit of packing and one misplaced slinky hose away from test running a planer.
UPDATE Slinky hose has been found after several trips to the garage. Would you believe that I had put it in a 5 gallon bucket along with all of the other Shop-Vac type attachements…
