you may remember a little while ago Bert Burger mentioning a mini tornado going through his suburb .
Well , here’s some shots from the same storm , further south … taken by a helicopter pilot / photographer friend of Rosco [a mate of mine from the east coast of Australia] …
It looks like a scene from some extraterrestrial movie , eh ?!

I’ve always wondered about tornadoes outside North America. I wasn’t sure if it tornadoes were a result of weather patterns that are endimic to this continent or if other larger land masses with great expanses of plains land also experienced tornadoes.
