C.D.B.

Some guys are so humble. C.D.B has been posting here for a while now and you would never know that he was a frickin’ artist. You guys have GOT to see some of the boards he’s made. Check out the Latest Resource submission on the home page. Mike (sorry Clay, I couldn’t resist.) http://www.claybennettsurfboards.com/

Right on Mike. AND he is willing to take part in Swaylock’s and share ideas. I found his site a few months ago and make it a regular stop. I think Clay’s boards are true to his plan, a great quality board that is going to work for the surfers that order them. Every time I visit his site there is a great looking board featured, always worth a repeat visit. CDB, good job. Tom S.>>> Some guys are so humble. Nice move Mike.Clay is not a big ego self promo man.He really works hard at his craft.I have known him for many years and is one the few pros that will help you out.If he keeps it up his boards will be almost as good as mine.(I couldn’t help it Clay.) Roger Brucker MIKE,TOM,& ROGER; Thanks for all the kind words --had the day from hell-nothing went right and the heat was devastating so this little thread kinda made my day–like everyone else on this site I’m just trying to do the best I can with the hopes one day to be in the same league as Gene,Phillips, and Roger–so thanks for the plug and the post and yep one day I will catch up to Brucker–do ya hear footsteps Roger?

I hear those footsteps, how can I not here em when your shoes are covered with a two inch crust of dried resin and foam dust. Not to mention tha snap crackle and pop of glassing clothes.Mahalo

Oh yeah!!! Clay is my hero. Took the time to talk and share with this would be wanker of a foam hacker from Georgia!! and he did it all with a straight face. Like when he looked at one of my boards and said “…interesting” which I took for a polite way of saying piece of crap. ha But he is a stand-up guy doing super work for sure. Thanks Clay. Be seeing ya soon. ed
