Anyone useing a carbide grit head – how does it compare with a blade > setup?>>> Shine …There’s stuff in the archives about gritheads,…gritheads are good for finish-shaping or thinning nose areas with alot of flip,but in no way will it come close to replacing a good set of sharp blades.Herb.
Anyone useing a carbide grit head – how does it compare with a blade > setup?>>> Shine Shine I have a Hitachi with a grit drum, but I use it only for fine tuning after dropping on all of my main bands. It leaves a different texture than the planer, so it is really easy to see where it is cutting. http://www.JimtheGenius@aol.com
