channel pools

I had a problem with my hotcoat pooling in the radii of my channels. I brushed several times and it still would get fairly deep. of couse I had to stop brushing eventually. what can I do to avoid or lessen this? I’m really apprehensive about putting on the gloss with the way that stuff levels out I won’t have channels. my channels angle down from the stringer deeper outbd. also, I can just use mekp in suncure to kick it off sans the sun right? or will there be ill effects?

Try this…elevate the nose end of your stand…gravity will let the resin flow down the channels and off the tail.Don’t catylize the resin too hot…give the wax a chance to rise.If you do it right resin will not pool up.

ahh yes, but they’re on the nose. set of 2 at 12" going 24" aft and set of 2 at 15" going 24" aft. I’d have to raise the tail pretty high up to get gravity help. would I be risking a super thin, if any, gloss coat at the tail by doing that?
