C’mon man wake up!
Women can make battleships and cars, so why can’t they fiberglass a board?
Now if those non surfers were surfboard designers, I’d agree with you!
Don’t take a surfer to sand a board, glass a board, or ship a board.
You dink the person who put your computer together at the factory is a qualified computer designer?
…ok ok LeeDD, my point is these guys dont relate to surfing in anythin…like you said this can be a whatever factory…alrigth the sanders airbrushers, etc they dont even to be surfers…, but for ex. in wich way they put fins? in one way., etc. to me, for building boards in series there are better methods…so to building handcrafted boards…take all the spects, etc…
You don’t think its important to put a battleship together with parts facing the right way?
Do you seriously think the guy who put your computer together actually USES a computer, and takes if apart on a regular basis.
Just follow the intructions, don’t re invent the wheel!
Hola,
I was at Tsunami website some months ago, and also was impressed, but not about seeing woman working on surfboards (it’d be like being stocked about seeing redheads or Norwegians or lefthandeds working on surfboards). What made be wide open eyes was the way they keep their factory SOOOOOO CLEAN!!!
I bet, they made the photo shooting the day after they started production (no sanding dust, no hotcoat drips,…)
I found yet another big surfboard factory: BENPAT, at HongKong, who sent to me their pricelist.
WOW! 215dollars for a 9’ longboard. One word comes to my mind: slaves.
All those shots were staged.
I wish my garage was as big and open and as clean as that factory. But then it wold be a factory and not my garage. And my boarrds would be coming from a factory and not my garage.
I like my garage.
My boards are better becasue they come from my garage!
Drew
I like the list on the benpat thing…you get a 6oz deck and a 2x4oz bottom…? Ride 'em upside down do they…? Have fun…
…yep, but i dont believe in this type of factories…cause in surfboards design 2+2 not always is 4…
