Just came back from a morning surf. Long story short, it was much bigger than it looked, and my mate and i got cleaned up. It was a bit big for me, so i headed in with my tail between my legs!. Anyway, i looked back, and saw half of my mates tuflite longboard. My seven s superfish xl was fine by comparison. Many variables i know but i thought it was interesting. The clena up set was probably 2-3’ OH. Just an observation people. Interesting looking construction though.
Beerfan,everything snaps!!Wrong place,wrong time,it snaps!!
Hi Mark,
A bloke around here snapped his 9’0 Bic and then the next day snapped his mates 9’2 south point.
I put the Bic back together and he says it rides much better than it did before.
Now in the process of putting the South point back together.
Regards
Daren.
hi,entity
how did you deal with this outer thermoplast skin on the bic?
once i repaired a bended one and it drove me crazy to get the repair
flush with this stuff.
Hi Chene,
I usually give myself plenty of space around the ding when I repair those type of boards. Then just gradually feather the finish coats back.
Oh, and I sand the absolute s#!t out of it with #36 grit paper to make sure its good and rough.
