close encounters (of the " Hicksy " kind) .....

Hey Kokua

Yes the quality of the paper is great. I wet a piece and couldn’t find it, it gets that clear.

There is a way to save on postage when you move. Set up a cheapo computer and printer in someones office on the island and print from the mainland to that printer. All you need is someone at the other end to load paper and collect the printed stuff.

Could save a few much needed bucks that way. Good luck with the move mate.

Howzit Hicksy, The problem with doing that is I do as many as 100 lams at a time and loading rice paper is a hassle if they don't do it right. I load a piece of heavy duty matt paper and then load the rice paper in front, makes the rice paper run thru the printer without getting cloged up. I've talked to most of my clients and they would rather just pay the postage.Aloha,Kokua

after 3 years of pretty much continual use , the “prawn” has ‘come apart at the seams’ [rails] …repair time !!

I wonder if it will last another 3 years ?! [Not bad for a $200aus strip and reshape [and spray and glass and multi-plug] job , I reckon !!]

Ben, Grant, you guys are off the hook man, I’m looking forward to catching up. I’ve been pretty busy for the last couple of weeks moving from Safety Bay to Secret Harbour. I’m sure we’ll catch up before long.

Hey Tim,

You were meant to keep that place a secret you know. Now they’ll kick you out of there!!!

Hope your move went well. How did that board of yours turn out. Doing stuff Friday night and on Saturday if you’re interested.

latest offerings [thanks , Grant , for the photos]…

Awesome!! a real bonzer setup! when’z its ride due?

…as soon as this weather changes… maybe next Monday ??!!

[arrows going right to left = offshore winds , here in woz]

The bonzer runners ?

…there IS a new take on these fins though , Josh …stay tuned !

ben

Hi Josh !

just to explain further …

the bonzer runners you saw as finboxed ones in the above photo were too long for the base to “hinge” into the box, to attach them .

So, I have now F.C.S. tabbed them , to put in my “Prawn” [5’11" “fish”]

…you can see what they look like as fcs-tabbed runners on the “my “fish”…SOME of the fin setups” thread …
