So my lam’s didn’t turn out so hot on the bottom…anyone see any problems other then weight with laminating some hawaiian print over the bottom? I’ve got it cut and ready to go, just wanted some opinions before I go. Then hotcoating over this.
has to be 100% cotton dude
The problem is if it’s not completely flat… your lam, you’re going to sand through the inlay in spots.
I’d hotcoat it, sand it as best you can, then paint on top of the sanded hotcoat. Then seal that.

Not true, You can use some silks, Cotton poly blends, etc. Test any fabric first before applying, But I use those 3 types on a weekly basis.
Some guy brought in Micrfiber today, You know what they use commonly in boardshorts…Ill let ya know if it works
got some 100% cotton hawaiian print at Wal-mart for $2 a yard. SCORE! I think I’m going to lay it down similar to the lams, but REALLY thin. I’m sanding down some of the uneven spots on the lam, it’s pretty flat except some areas on the rails where the inlay isn’t going to go. I’ll take some pictures when I finish is up tonight.
