I read in a past post that you could “cook” your blank, to get the gases out.
If I’m using 1 lb. EPS, and I leave my blank in my car on a hot day and let it cook, could I forego the vent plug???
Don’t worry about the little pentane in EPS. If you are using 1# foam you should beef up the glassing and/or put in rail channels for some strength/stiffness.
