Coolest Google image search ever.

Profile of a site in images.

Something like fourty pages of it.

very cool, but your know what is really scarey…

48 google pages and I really recognize nearly everyone of those pictures and can nearly see the post/place on the swaylocks site where I first saw that pic.

Thanks everyone for being part of what has become such a big part of our (my) lives.

Sweet search idea, Doug.

Wow!!!

I’m not sure how it works but Shipman and I have boards on page one.

Thank you everyone at Swaylocks for sharing information and posting photos.

Ray

1/3 of them are Chip’s fins and templates!!!

Cool search…Thanks Doug…

I swear I didn’t know that writing “…thanks to everyone at Swaylock’s for keeping up the stoke…” would bring my board to the first page…

Now, guys, you know what to do…

It is very cool. For whatever reason, though, not every image from Swaylocks shows up there. I had just done that exercise the other day, as part of research for the “Swaylock’s logo in color” thread. While I found enough images of surfboards to keep me unproductively occupied for hours :->, none of the logos shown in that thread (this included several that were repeated from older threads, so it isn’t an indexing latency issue) appeared to be in the Google cache.

Hmmmm. On further research, I did an “advanced search” for all images in the domain “swaylocks.com”, while it looks like you searched on Swaylocks as a key word. Wonder if any of the images you retreived are on a different domain???

wow …and I thought I had time on my hands !!

with all due respect , ‘iam2sam’ …

I think it might be about time for you to go catch some waves …

‘homer fan’ ben

now …if “Google” can please just send twenty dollars for EACH photo of ours they have used there , to Mike Paler , that may [hopefully] help finance sways for oh …how long , I wonder ?

…and maybe if friggin’ ‘chipfish61’ didn’t post so MANY stinkin’ photos , sways wouldn’t cost so much to run , anyway ! … [ohhh, woe is me ! …the two-edged sword of photos , eh ?! ]

…yeah , Hicksy …god only knows [and ‘google’ too, I guess !] why my fin templates [of all things?] ended up in there ??

Now do a search on google vids, I did this about a month a go, should call up 2 very cool shaping vids

Sorry havent got the time right now to find the links.

this one brought back memories for me:

All,

Glad to hear you all enjoyed it  Thought you would - I liked it

Keep in mind it was only a keyword search. I did do a “site:www.swaylocks.com” search, but liked the keyword one better… Anyway, now you have it for posterity

Can’t get to video.google form this login (firewall).

hey keith i remember that one aswell. I liked that logo…

In the case of he photos you have uploaded, Chip, I strongly recommend that you approach Google with the the “per fin” price sheet :->

Surfing - until yesterday was still a bit too cold here, and the knee is presently giving some grief… Soon, I hope.

Howzit doug, How did they get the pictures and is there any way to add to them on the Google site.Aloha, kokua

Hey Kokua,

Google (BTW, have you read the wikipedia entry on Google? DO make sure you read about Google’s hoaxes - hilarious!) actively scans and catalogues all web pages it can find using Googlebot. Exactly what Googlebot is and how it works isn’t public knowledge. If you find out you can sell it to the other search engine owners for a bundle!

Does that stop us from figuring out how to manipulate Googlebot into increasing a web page’s ranking? No way pal! Check out the dreaded Google Bomb!
