Cost of raw Materials?

With the anticipated cost of oil expected to top $85 a barrel of crude by the end of next year…

Do any of the industry guys here have an idea of what the impact it will be downstream to product such as resin research, glass, UV resin etc etc?

From an investment standpoint I’m trying to decide if it’s best to bulk up now on supplies before things go up artificially or real… Alot of retailers start marking things up blaming oil so I’d thought it be best to get some insight now from the pros before everyone starts jumping on the “cost of oil” excuse…

$5.00 a gallon of premium unleaded gas translates to how much for a gallon of resin, epoxy or yard of 4oz S glass?..

Does anyone have that calculation?

Thanks…

Oh yeah

god works in mysterious ways…

saw a bumper sticker on a beat up truck in front of me driving in this morning…

One said “I love Ewa Beach”

The other said “EH NO GRUMBO JUS BE HUMBO”

made my day…

UH starts next week… the horror the horror

Exact numbers? It’ll go up according to the secret code of “let’s really jack it up this time” manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers.

All I know is, my electric bill is “adjusted” upward, never downward, with each minute change in oil prices, and I’m glad I use propane where I can.
