Could someone autocad a design temp for me? or...

It would be really great if someone could autocad this board to 51.5" long and 19.75 inches wide with like two other width measurements between the ends and the center… or someone can direct me to a free download to autocad. Thanks

If anyone is curious, Im making a skimboard out of 3/4" divinycell foam. It is going to have 3 layers of 6oz s-glass on the deck with 2 layers of s-glass on the bottom. 1.5" rocker, normal skimboard rails, flat bottom… That whole thing. All the supplies are coming from a local marine store. Im just bored and want to get in a little bit more experience with fiberglass before I build my 5’10" fish. If anyone is interested in skimboard design Ill post pics and let everyone know how it goes.

Ummmmmmm

I don’t have a CAD drawing but sketching a template like that should be pretty easy. Just wing it.

This one was 3/4 divinycell and RR Epoxy.

Print that board onto graph paper, follow the measurements from there…

I can do it if you give me the other measurements, no worries. BUT I’d go with the other guys and draw it with bendy splines / battens and enjoy the process. Computers are not all they’re cracked-up to be, drawing is a pleasure in itself and the buzz you’d get from doing it all from scratch is great. Much of this is about artistry and feel , things that computers notoriously lack!!

Get back to me if I can help.

Have you tried downloading the APS3000 program? It’s free and it’s for the APS3000 shaping machine.

Yes, sure.

I hope it helps.

Measurements (decimal and imperial) 1foot off nose and tail.

There should be some optical effect in the pic, since overall width (for 51.5" legth) results 19.45" (not 19.75" as you said).

I found a great idea (program) that wil help everybody out hopefully it did for me when i made my skimboard. the program is called ace poster all you have to do is import your picture and change the size and it will print it to scale. Hope this helps.
