Curing problem

Hey guys - a question from a complete noob - hopefully you can help

Our bike mounted rack collapsd on the way back from the beach yesterday and my wife’s longboard got a pretty good ding.  I attempted to repair last night with a ding all kit - have done some glass work before on boats but this is the first time I have fixed a big ding on our surfboard. The fall took a chunk out of the rail by the nose.

All seemed to go well but the resin is not cured this am - 12 hrs later. I used the 2 part resin plus q cell, mixed to the consistency of cake icing. Built this up over a 1/4" or so and put a couple of glass patches on top, coated well with resin. We are in north Carolina so it was pretty hot - about 95 deg.

So - the resin is now slowly curing but still sticky and soft. Any ideas what went wrong?    Improper mixing or course can do it but I thought it was mixed well. Maybe the heat?  (I did reduce catalyst because of this).

Thoughts on what to do from here?  Just let it cure slowly?   Scrape it off and start over?  Hotcoat?

Thx for the help all.

If it is curing slowly, I would let it cure, no need to take it off.
