do you change the edge of the rails / rocker / foil / bottom to better fit san diego surf for that board?
If i needed to i would but it seems what this combination is working well there. I will soften the front rail if asked to. I could lower the tail rocker 1/8" for really weak waves .I can also raise the nose rocker without any negatives if it’s only in the front 12".These are custom boards and can be custom ordered with slight changes without hurting their overall performance.
Does this particular design feature the tucked under edge throughout the entire length of the board?
Yes it does have a tucked edge through the whole board.
Lawrence picked it up last night and is riding it in perfect north shore waves today.
When building a board with a wider nose such as this one, do you change or adjust entry rocker to accomodate the wider nose? If so, in what way?
What sort of range of tail rockers work on design like this? Say for example 1.75’’ to 2.25’'?
The rails on this board as well as the others you post are very pleasing to the eye. How many rail bands are involved in fashioning such a rail?
thanks for your indulgence greg.
