Many of you read my earlier post about the Brewer my dad pulled out of storage. Well, he stopped by earlier with another gem. A Maui Model by Greek, looks to be around 7ft. This thing needs a little work around the nose and has some water issues but looks ridable. I’m sure I’ll find out tomorrow. Fill it with solarez and ride it, right? Thought you you guys might want to check it out. Let me know what you guys think. Don’t know much about this one, so if any of you guys could help me out with some info it would be appreciated. The shaper looks like Weazel, maybe?
Brad, I sent you a PM.
Wow! Amazing color and WAY too cool lap and pinline! Betcha that baby HAULS ASS!!! Good find, I’m super jealous! What kinda fin has it got??? SHEESH!!! NICE!!!
Here’s a pic of the fin. Thing’s nasty, I’m actually a little freaked out about slicing an extremety off. hole cut for for lease is kind of a bummer but I actually think it might even have the original lease with working velcro. HAHA!
Nice fin but scrap the leash unless there is a serious threat of damage to the board if you lose it. Fix it up and ride it.
Brad,
If you want to fix them right, don’t just start slapping solar resin in all the dings. I’m in san diego, if you need help with this restoration stuff, drop me a pm. Don’t start doing a butcher job on some potentially nice boards.

Shaper is Bill Wetzel, San Clemente. He had his own line of surfboards for a while, Was a webber team rider I think 64-66?
