Yep, I’ll shape one soon’ish and come back with all the horror stories. I surf all kinds of waves here in NZ, some of them very average, some very rocky and quite heavy, some absolutely perfect. This Friday a friend and I surfed a long righthand reef/point. Clean, fast, head high or so, and just the two of us all day. My 5’10 twin keel was loving it; it’s so much a better board than I am a surfer.
And yeah, I live here permanently now, meteorologist at the local weatherservice.
