Our digitally printed art is really working out well. The rice paper we are using wets out nicely and is easy to use.
We also print any graphics that our customers/shapers submit. Pics are some customer boards. We have been testing for quite a while and we really have this process dialed in well. Let me know what you think of the art. We are mostly doing 2 - 4 ft size art to keep cost down, ease of use and reduced weight also. We will do full board art if requested. Has anyone tried large rice paper graphic lams?
We have found that there is a certain way to apply them when glassing a board which works best that Larry at LP glassing recommends.
ricepaper on foam next lay cloth and last apply resin over on cloth.
