I’m trying to repair some dings that another did a horrible job of repairing except i’m having trouble getting their glass job off (especially without damage to the original glassing). Are their any tips or hints that i could get? Thanks
Erin, A dremel tool can solve many of these types of problems. I general replace the bad work by laminating a foam plug fashioned into the shape of the cavity I make with 6oz cloth and white gel coat. Patches alway look like patches It’s almost impossible to avoid that look but keeping things strong and light is really what you have to be after when it comes to ding repair. A light touch with sanding screen and relamination and you’re on your way. From the fin shop, Rich
