I’ve shaped and glassed a few polyU/polyester kneeboards decades ago, and within the last 10 years I’ve done some personal pioneering work with soft kneeboards …
… I’ve seen where some of you folks here at Swaylock’s have shaped and glassed epoxy boards using eps planks bought at Home Depot, and RR resin & E or S glass.
I’d like to shape and glass a few 5’ to 6’ fish kneeboards (Lis-type replicas). I’ve scoured the Swaylock’s archives and found some interesting tidbits of DIY epoxy shaping scoop, but nothing about a complete end-to-end process.
Can someone please clue me in to the shaping/glassing of epoxy boards using planks of eps?
Much obliged,
Rob.
