I am done with the Knee Board with the Kevlar deck! The customer has been more of a pain then the job has been. Here are pictures if I can figure out how to post them…otherwise, I will post them in “Resources” so the thing will show up on the homepage of this website…
Epoxy glass job came out just fine over the poly foam stain artwork. I think I contaminated my epoxy resin though on the bottom hotcoat as it did not get real hard and I ended up scraping it all off and re-hotcoating. WHAT A PAIN!! I used to only have that problem when I used additive F, but since I stopped using it, I have had no problems…till now. I am certain it was my own fault.
Either way, the board came out pretty nice. A bit on the heavy side maybe. Oh well. On to the next project!
