I’m new here, I’m currently shaping a balsa-board I’d like to glass next week, with epoxy resin.
How long do you wait and let your board dry after glassing, before you take it to water? I’ve heard you need to wait 6 weeks at least…
What do you think, is 3 weeks also enough?

thanks a lot, I will check the posts then and check with the resin specs… I guess 6 weeks is definetely too much then… good, since i would like to finish the board and get it wet soon…

and be sure to avoid breathing or getting sanding dust on your skin if you sand before fully cured
