Hi Guys. Does anyone knows how to do that raw painting on those Foilboards?
Thanks Railwaysuefer, pretty nice video.
As most of foil boards are made with vacuum bag, looks like they do the last glassing with epoxy plus a color pigment and sand. But as you can see on the Duotone board picture, carbon textile appear very clear, so looks like they do something on the vacuum phase.
Hi Jrandy, tks for reply
Have you seen anything about painting on the video?
Not specifically. Some of the boards online look like a gray hot coat or maybe paint, some look more clear. The pink color looks like a spray at the end.
PS I am not a big fan of EPS or XPS boards in black/dark colors, left out in the sun on a hot day and they can get hot enough to mess with the foam or promote de-lams.
Biax carbon lam clear, white cheater coat then clear finish coats.
This one is glass lam grey then cheater coat white. I could keepp this style with clear finish
Thanks Lemat!
