Many thanks for posting this. I have seen the Surfabout bellyboard article and have been trying to locate Bozo Griifth. Rick Shapter is aparently the bodysurfer on page 45 and he identified the bodysurfer on page 46 as Julie Gibson.
The Len Hedges bellyboard kits from 1965 are also interesting. I had seen a similar ad from 1966 and am trying to find out more about Len. He also designed boats I gather.
Paul did you see any other ads or stories on bellyboards?
