you feeling these waves yet teddy?
up here in NJ we are starting to see some chop. Supposedly by the end of the day into tomorrow we’ll start to see the full effects with it peaking out late friday into Saturday. Last I heard the buoy predictions for friday were 12 - 15ft from the swell alone. We’ll see though, predictions are, well… predicitons.
…3-4’ and clean 14sec in Fla,only goin up from here…bout time…peace and waves…
we had head high wind swell last weekend. which is good because I’ve been hit with the worst cold/flu thing in the last 24hrs that’s kickin my ass. probably keep me out of the water this weekend ARRRRRGH!!! enjoy.
today in VB its 3-4 and clean clean clean. its only supposed to keep on rising.
Fabian!!! This has gotta get good!!! Gidget could live if he weren’t!
in jax its 2-3 wind slop. TD #12 in the gulf is going to chop this swell all up for us. YEA!!! (in sarcastic voice)
Nova Scotia. Don’t tell anyone.
Looks like Hurricane “Faith” that went off in 1965 or something.Rhode Island K39??? R. Brucker
It’s Friday morning, 7:30, and the swell just cleaned up here in South Jersey. I work in AC and the waves are a solid 4 feet plus with slight offshores. Hurry up 4 o’clock.
They clean down there huh? They look semi clean up here (Belmar area) from the cam’s but I heard the rips are out of this world today. Hopefully it stays around till tomorrow. I’m hearing reports of it drifting off tonight.
Looks like it’s heading my way on the long range forecast. Man, I love this time of the year! regards, Håvard
Just got outta the h20! This is what I wait for. overhead, light offshores, 70 degree (green and gulfy) water. Best thing…no crowds where I go. surfed from 8am to 6pm, yesterday, (2 stops for 15 min -water) WITH ONLY SIX GUYS IN THE WATER!!!. my knees are trembling, lungs got the “deep wheeze”, shoulders sore. should rest, but…going back for MORE!!! Not bad for mainland. grab those few and far betweens like relish. Sept. / Oct. are the months in N.E. ! EnjoY!!! T.
I can vouch for that…! Sat. was probably the best quality waves I’ve ever seen around here (NY) in 25 years. Thank you Fabian. Henri and Isabel are still out there doing their thing… and… Advil is a good product (!).
Ruggles on Friday was very good. We usually don’t see that caliber or surf or surfers up here. Lost a side FCS fin on a rock paddling out. Didn’t know until 3 hours later. Knew something felt off. Broke the plug too. Weak system that surely doesn’t work with challels. Waiting for the next storm. Rob Olliges
