East Coast, Blanks?

I haven’t bought blanks for maybe a year. I bought them from Fib. Florida last time but the company does not sell blanks anymore.

I’ve looked around and have had shipping rates from $110-$160

Where are you East Coasters buying from?

I just want to see if there are any better options I’m not aware of.

I’m looked for PU

Quantity <7

Location is New Hampshire

Thanks!

Ice-9 in Florida

Atlantic Surfoam is in the old Clark warehouse in Melbourne and distributes Rhyno Foam, US Blanks, and more.

Call the Future Fin guys in V beach. I have gotten foam from them. I think the name is Dave. He’s conected to Seasoned Surfboards. Much cheaper shipping rates than going to FL.

I missed the New Hampshire part the first time, Rhyno and US are also available from

US Fiberglass on the Outer Banks. They can be reached at 252-491-8535. Or em them

at wrvfactory@earthlink.net

you can also check with Brian at Greenlightsurfsupply somewhere NE like Philly

although many people on this board don’t like these people, Surf Source is in Jacksonville, FL and they have a good selection of blanks

I haven’t order from them they have a good inventory and shipping rates for single blanks.

Its not our main business but we usually stock a variety of blanks and we sell supplies to the local guys. If you have a hard time getting anything give us a call. Our website has our number.

Troy

looks like i have some phone calls to make.

Thanks guys!

I ran across surf source already and their shipping was about $75 (which isn’t bad at all) but i haven’t given them a call. Why don’t people like them?

We can ship individual shortboard blanks for $30 each to you, mid-length (up to 8’) for $85 each, and longboards go freight for about $110.

The cost per blank drops at quantities of 4 and up.

They’re not PU though, EPS blanks with bamboo stringers…

We may warehouse blanks and materials in the N. Mass / NH / ME area starting this summer. Anyone interested please let us know so we can decide if it’s worth the investment. Hope to save you guys some $$ in the shipping dept

The Future Fins guys name is Dave Barnes, I’m not sure how to get hold of him anymore. The Seasoned website may still be good but Austin moved his operation into Barney’s old warehouse.

… because they’re libelous rip-off artists, and there are far too many decent, hard-working people in this industry with better products for less money for me to even consider giving my hard-earned $$$ to people like that.

(was that too blunt??..i know i can be a bit a bit abrasive sometimes…apologies)

I had heard that Warm Winds Surf Shop in RI was stocking blanks and supples again. I’m not sure if this is true but you could always check it out. Certainly close enough to drive and pick them up.

Thanks for the info folks

i’d be completely interested in a supply store on the east coast near me… it’d be a lot cheaper for shipping… please do that.

I think there is a whole thread dedicated to why people don’t like them…I’ve never had a problem, but then again I don’t buy a lot like some of the guys on this board do.

Rachel,

I called WW. $146 for a 7’4 Bennett!

pass

brian. i’m located in Maine and i for one would definitely be interested in a location for blanks close by. anywhere in ME/NH/MA is easy enough to pick up than having to pay shipping here.

The Rhyno is the quality foam I have seen.
