i am from new jersey and would like to know if there are any suppliers on the east coast, especially for CLARK blanks. i haven’t had any luck. also if anyone knows where i can pick up some resin in new jersey. help…
Hey Teddy, I too am from Jersey, Monmouth County. And sadly there are no local options that I know of for us midatlantic garage builders. As far as Clark blanks go, the closest place is “US Fiberglass” in North Carolina. Shipping is a bit of a pain and could be costly. Shipping price for a single longboard blank can run close to $80. But the good news is that the blanks have to come on freight and they charge by space, so therefore the preice to ship 4 blanks is still the same $80. As far as resin goes, I searched every marina, boat yard in Ocean and Monmouth counties and had no luck. But you can order pretty much everything through US fiberglass, from Resin to catalyst to cloth, pretty much everything you need. There fast and reliable. Here is there contact info; http://www.geocities.com/Pipeline/Halfpipe/9483/ (252)491-8535 Good luck!
